Challenge
The previous process of employers completing background checks for potential employees included submitting paper requests and the Department of Justice retaining and mailing paper copies.
Solution
A Record Check System designed for individuals or organizations to submit criminal background checks and retrieve results entirely online.
Result
The Department of Justice website redesign followed the style guide developed for the Online Record Check System. Years after launch in 2016, the Record Check System continues to be of service to individuals and employers.
